  • 3/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving about 2 inches of space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are lightly golden brown.
